Covid 19 Update and policies

I would like to travel to the Isle of Man  - is it possible?

For information visit https://covid19.gov.im/

If you are an Isle of Man resident or  UK resident able to travel to the IOM, then we will be happy to take your booking. If you are travelling to the Island and looking for a property to self-isolate in then please contact us for more information.

If you are travelling from the UK or further, and would like to make a booking for September 2021 onwards then we will be happy to accept this. If Government travel restrictions continue beyond that date then flexibility will apply as per below.

Bookings

Do I have to pay up front now for a future booking?

We take a 25%  deposit on all bookings, with the balance payable 60 days beforehand. If Government travel restrictions are imposed to all travellers, then we will be happy to move your booking to alternative dates, offer you a credit note or refund any monies paid.  If you choose to cancel your booking, and there are no Government imposed travel restrictions for anyone entering the Isle of Man, then you will not be entitled to a refund, but can claim a credit note up to 60 days before travelling.

Can I cancel my booking and take a credit note if I don't feel comfortable travelling?

Yes, up until 60 days before you are due to travel you may do this for any reason you choose. Or at any point if the Government imposes immediate travel restrictions.

What happens if the Government prevents us from travelling?

In the event of travel restrictions imposed by the Government we will be happy to move your booking to alternative dates, offer you a credit note (to be used within 18 months) or take a full refund. If you choose to cancel your booking, and there are no travel restrictions then you will not be entitled to a refund, but can claim a credit note up to 60 days before travelling.

I am due to stay and my balance payment is due but I’m nervous about travelling, can I hold off paying this and see what happens?

Balance collection date is 60 days before your holiday is due to commence. We will need to collect this to continue your holiday booking, but up until 60 days before travelling you can move your holiday, or claim a credit note.

If events on the Island are cancelled, what happens to my booking?

Bookings for accommodation are unrelated to an event, therefore the same process applies as above. You may cancel and take a credit note up to 60 days before you are due to travel under any circumstances.

Please do contact us to discuss your individual requirements and if we can move your booking we will do.

Information for Isle of Man residents

Can I book a staycation?

Yes, we are open for bookings from local residents

You will need to check your travel insurance as to whether this would be covered. We do not offer refunds in this case.

What happens if I need to cancel my holiday because of restrictions or lockdown in my local area?

You will need to check your travel insurance as to whether this would be covered. We do not offer refunds in this case.

What would happen if any guests in the property before me contract the Coronavirus and have to self-isolate in the property, i.e. the property will not be vacated in time for my booking?

We would endeavour to find you alternative accommodation - the booking would transfer to the new property however would be subject to the terms and conditions of the owner of that property.

Can you guarantee the properties are clean?

We cannot and will not guarantee that the properties are free from infection, however we follow our usual checklist with enhanced disinfection of hard surfaces and touch points in the properties.  Cleaning products will be provided at the properties for guests who may wish to conduct their own wipe down of surfaces. In addition, we are following the Government’s guidance for cleaning of non-healthcare settings issued specifically for the current situation and are have gained the Government's recommended scheme, the Safe, Clean and Legal Covid-19 Award.
