Long term stay at Seaspray whilst moving house:
We stayed at the newly renovated Seaspray Cottage in Port Erin the last couple of weeks.
The cottage is spacious, beautifully set up and decorated and you will be spoiled with arguably some of the best sea views in Port Erin.
Centrally located close to bus stops,
restaurants and everything you could need for a fabulous stay.

Great family holiday at Palm Villa

We stayed at Palm Villa for two weeks with our daughter, her partner and two children. This three bedroom house easily accommodated us all. It was spotlessly clean and well appointed. The owner was very attentive and easy to contact. We were very pleased with the welcome pack left for us. Palm Villa was in a great position, just half a minute to the beach, very close to the Isle of Man steam train station, the shops and children’s play park, yet in a quiet backwater. We all had a fantastic holiday.

We had the most wonderfully delightful 2 weeks at Seaview Cottage and cannot wait to return next year. Everything is beyond perfect. All you could wish for and so much more.
The decor and fixtures & fittings are really stunning. No expense has been spared to make your stay very comfortable and so special. The situation is absolutely wonderful,just a few steps to the beach and the views from the cottage are breathtaking. A truly joyful experience.

Great holiday in Seaview

We have had a fabulous time at Seaview. The location is perfect - with amazing views across Port Erin. The house was well appointed, modern and well equipped. There is a charging point nearby which was good for us as we have an electric car. The supermarket is also nearby and there is easy access to the train station - the steam trains are great!

We stayed in a beautiful Georgian townhouse. It was only a few minutes walk from the harbour, the town square, the shops and bus stops. The steam railway was 10 minutes walk away. The Island has so much to offer and is an ideal holiday destination

Beautiful cottage close to the heart of Castle Town

Thank you to our wonderful host for making the stay at the cottage easy and convenient. This is a beautiful cottage, very comfortable with updated furnishing and finishes. A fully functional kitchen makes it easy to prepare home-cooked meals. Overall a family-friendly home which is a great spot to be in, on the border of the castle in historic Castle Town. The location is super convenient, close to the shops, the docks, and the town square. Transport from this location is easy with bus routes at your doorstep, and a parking spot also makes life easy.

“Sea Views from Seaview”

Port Erin is a great location for exploring the Isle of Man, with two of the best walks starting from there, as well as the final stop of the steam railway from Douglas. Seaview is beside the beach and just a few minutes walk from good places to eat, the station and great ice cream. The cottage itself is really well equipped, with plenty of space and good views. Our little dog enjoyed it too and I'm sure we will be back.

We stayed at Castleview in Castletown, only for one night due to a flight cancellation, but we have to say this is a beautifully fitted, high spec three storey house with everything you need in place for a very comfortable stay. An added bonus is that its also located a minutes walk from the picturesque harbour and the coastline, which is definitely worth a look. Finally, I have to add that the landlady was extremely accommodating in helping us through a traumatic flight cancellation and was so caring, ensuring we were happy with the accommodation and that we were sorted with ongoing travel etc. This was our first visit to the IOM and we were pleasantly surprised by the welcoming, very helpful locals of the island. I for one will be booking to go back in the future!

Seaview

We were so lucky to get to stay in this wonderful home as a last minute booking. What a treat it was to look out over that beautiful bay every morning from every room. Just glorious.
The cottage was spotless, cosy and well equipped. Beds so very comfortable!
We all kept saying, “we wish this was our home.”
To walk 28 steps from door to sand every day was a true blessing. So relaxing and refreshing.
We’ll definitely be back.

“A staycation Gem in the heart of Castletown”

Wow !! We have just had the most amazing stay in Castleview. This place is absolutely stunning. It is literally in the heart of Castletown and not minutes but seconds from all of the restaurants bars and amenities Castletown has to offer. It also has a private car park space close by. The house has recently been renovated to a very high standard of decor 😍 plus has the flexibility of being any combination of 3 x twin bedrooms or 3 x doubles if required. Plus the top bedroom has a sofa bed so can literally have 8 people to stay there. Sun room is gorgeous for meals looking out into a court yard that is a little sun trap and perfect to relax with a glass of wine 😍 !! Plus we loved the view of the castle from the bedroom windows. We love our staycations in the IOM and this has got to be the NO1 place to stay in Castletown. Also a big thank you to Lyndsey the host who couldn’t do enough to make our stay a memorable one!! Here’s to staying again in the not to distant future

Beautiful spacious cottage with everything you need for a holiday home, the best equipped self catering home I have stayed in.

Cottage was spotlessly clean and was fully stocked with products to keep it clean and tidy eg cloths, binbags, kitchen roll etc. Had a washing machine and dishwasher plus plenty of different cooking utensils and pans, even managed to cook a full roast dinner!

Large fridge and freezer perfect for a family. Beds and pillows were comfortable we all slept really well, wooden blinds on the windows to shut out the light so rooms were dark enough to sleep in. The cottage is an excellent location close to the beaches and less than 5 minutes walk to a co-op, the train station/bus stop and a great park, less than 10 minutes walk to a supermarket.

We've been lucky enough to stay in both Palm Villa and Seaview Cottage recently. Seaview Cottage couldn't be closer to Port Erin beach and Palm Villa overlooks a quiet little park, just around the corner.
Both cottages offer excellent accommodation and sleep 6 comfortably. The facilities are first class and we hope to return again soon. Our host, Lynsey, made sure we enjoyed our stay and the Welcome hamper was really appreciated. The difficulty will be choosing which one to stay in!

“An amazing birthday treat!”

We loved our stay at Seaview Cottage in Port Erin. Having seen it on Instagram, it didn't disappoint. Plenty of space for 4 adults and 2 children and the facilities were excellent. We couldn't have been nearer to the beach, 2 ice cream shops, the Bay and the Bridge Bookshop. The outside seating area was big enough to accommodate all of us and sheltered from the breeze. We loved the quirkiness of the cottage and the separate games/reading room on the top floor was a hit with everyone. A beautiful cottage decorated and equipped to a very high standard, yet comfortable and welcoming. The welcome pack was particularly appreciated as we arrived late and enjoyed a leisurely breakfast the next morning.

A real home from home

After a visit in Seaview Cottage, we moved round the corner to Palm Villa and it was equally lovely. Very quiet and peaceful with lovely views of the small park opposite. Palm Villa is extremely well equipped and very comfortable. It was great for us to entertain our grandchildren and for Island based family to visit us. Our host Lynsey was very helpful and we were grateful to be able to just move from one house to the other. The only problem now is which cottage to choose when we visit the Isle of Man again!

Lovely dog-friendly beachfront cottage"
We have had a fantastic long stay at Seaview cottage with our two dogs. The location opposite the gorgeous beach is perfect (we have seen swimmers, paddleboarders and kayakers most days) and the views from every room are incredible. There are numerous lovely dog walks literally from the doorstep, including routes which take in dog-friendly pubs for lunch. All amenities needed are within walking distance, including two electric vehicle charging points, and Foraging Vintners and La Gusto have become weekend favourites for amazing sunset cocktails followed by delicious pizza! The cottage is very clean, cosy and well-equipped and Lynsey has been incredibly helpful both before and during our stay. We would definitely stay at Seaview again on our next IOM visit.

The plan was for 'A Little Christmas' for my nieces and nephews because I don't normally spend Christmas with them. I booked Seaview as it sounded so wonderful and I had passed the property many, many times and it always looks so inviting. Port Erin Traders had a special launch into the Christmas season that weekend. We were able to go to the Steam Railway Station for 'The Trail of the Lonesome Pines' with our local Laurel and Hardy actors in character. Santa also made a special snowy appearance. The stay was perfect. A Christmas tree was waiting for us in the living room.Once we had mastered the heating, it was just as cosy as expected. The children had great fun exploring, choosing their bedrooms and playing hide and seek. After a few days they discovered the outside area at the back. On our last evening we ran up and down the wide stretch of beach in the dark with torches, jumping the channels of shallow water and playing 'Mrs Souther'. It's a super, well-placed, well-kept property. The owner is attentive, local and extremely helpful. Many thanks

Amazing villa

You have the most amazing place and we really enjoy staying there, even our family from Isle of Man said it was a beautiful place, would definitely book with you again when next coming over, everything you could need in the villa, there’s no improvements needed, right on the beach front my dog loved it, so clean and tidy, definitely worth 5⭐️, the Isle of Man has so many lovely places to visit and you are always near a beautiful sea view, my favourite place is going to the Sound to watch the seals and a fantastic cafe Thanks again

Sea view is in the perfect location on Port Erin promenade, just a stone's throw from the beach. The cottage is beautiful, tastefully renovated with lovely decor and furnishings. It's really roomy, there was 6 of us with 2 dogs and we all had plenty of space. We loved the views and enjoyed sitting in the secret garden at the back. We loved it so much we have already booked to go back, less than a month later!

Seaview: A fantastic place to stay and wow what a view! The cottage is very well furnished and immaculately clean. We had a lovely week's stay with our Labrador. As a family of 4 and our dog we had a fabulous stay at Sea View. This was our second stay with seaside cottages and we weren’t disappointed. From the lovely welcome goodies when we arrived to the most beautiful of views of the beach and Bradda Head. Perfect location for water activities, walks, shopping or eating out. Just got back from a 5 night stay at the gorgeous Palm Villa in Port Erin. A perfect home away from home. Private but still really close to the beautiful beach. The house is very pretty, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated and presented. Comfy beds and everything you could possibly need was provided along with appreciated extras like local produce. Before our stay, the owner Lynsey provided regular blogs and updates on the very best that the local area has to offer. This was great to be able to plan our stay and really pack as much in as possible. Port Erin is an amazing little town and we really enjoyed our stay.

Our family of 5 had a super enjoyable stay in Port Erin. The location, space and creature comforts of Palm Villa really enhanced our holiday. Beach, Shop, Park, Pub, (Bike Shop!), and Eateries are all a stone's throw away which was really handy. We did a lot of beach stuff, surfing at Gansey (a 5min drive away), walked up Bradda and down to the Sound, and generally did our best to wear the boys out...but Palm Villa was a great base to relax and refuel. Our twins had the twin-room (of course!) and our 7 year old enjoyed the loft room which had plenty of room for his pal to stay over on his birthday too. The grownups had the ground floor +ensuite which was nice and private. I'd certainly recommend staying here.

We've just had the most relaxing stay at Palm villa. The location couldn't have been better to enjoy our latest Isle of Man Staycation. The hosts have thought of everything and even provided a gorgeous and very generous welcome pack. Thanks ☺️ The property which accommodates up to 6 people is split over 4 floors, a double/twin room and en suite on the ground floor. A twin room with family bathroom on 2nd floor. A beautiful light and spacious lounge and kitchen/diner on the 3rd floor and a double with ensuite toilet at the top. Each room is tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable. We all had the best nights sleep! The hosts provided all the necessary information, along with ideas of things to do during our stay. It's such a good base to explore the beautiful Manx coastline. Definitely make sure you have a go at paddleboarding while here! Highly recommend a stay, but book early as it's very popular!!

We had a fab long weekend at Seaview cottage. The views are to die for, my favourite bit was waking up to that amazing sea view and chilling in bed with a cuppa watching the waves lap on the beach. The beach is beautiful and very safe for the kids, with all sorts of activities possible, kayaking, paddle boarding etc. There's cafés on the doorstep for ice creams and coffee, and even a bookshop /artstore two doors down. The cottage is beautifully furnished and everything you can think of is supplied. We had an amazing time and we will be back!

Originally booked for earlier in the year but had to cancel due to lockdown this has been a wonderful much needed break - even though we only travelled 10 or so miles from Douglas. The location in Port Erin is perfect - walking distance to pubs, a variety of different restaurants (the Fish and chips at the Bay were heavenly and the burgers at Holy Smokes divine!). Fabulous costal walks out to Bradda Glen and further or simply along the beach. Cottage is so comfortable (best beds I’ve come across on a holiday) and the view ... from each of the rooms are simply breathtaking. Everything you need -a real home from home. Would strongly recommend whether you live on the IOM or are travelling from afar.

We decided to have a little staycation on the Isle of Man and we were originally meant to stay in April over Easter but we had to reschedule so Lynsey managed to squeeze us in during February! What a weekend! The cottage was lovely, it had a homely feel even though it was over 3 floors. We bought our dog along too and dog bowls were provided. We were greeted with a very thoughtful welcome pack. The kitchen was well equipped and the beds were comfortable. The windows opened up wide to let the sunshine stream in. The beach was literally 3 minutes around the corner. Shops and local amenities right on your doorstep. You couldn’t ask for a more central location. We loved our stay and love port Erin even more than before.

We were meant to be in Spain this week and were initially quite reluctant to arrange a staycation but we were so happy we did! We have had the best week down south, so much better than we could have hoped for.
The cottage is in the perfect location and had absolutely everything we needed. We have been swimming, paddleboarding, coasteering , body boarding, jetty jumping and walking and so many lovely meals especially The Shore Hotel Gansey.
It has been a real break for all of us ad we will definitely be back next summer.

We have had the most incredible time! The cottage had everything we could have needed. Me and my husband were meant to be on our honeymoon but sadly due to covid we were unable to go off Island. This has been a wonderful "mini-moon" and first family holiday for us.
Our daughter settled so well, played on the beach and on the train for the first time. We have felt so at hoe and relaxed.
Absolutely 100% going to come back. Thankyou so much for everything you have done for us and making us feel so comfortable and relaxed.

What a wonderful stay we had as a family with young children at Palm Villa. A stylish comfortable home with everything you could need for a Staycation. We were greeted with a welcome pack including coffee, bread and milk which was a lovely touch. There were even board games for the kids and an Xbox for rainy days, luckily we were blessed with some great sunny days out in Port Erin beach which is just a stones throw away! We will definitely be back!

We stayed at Palm Villa with friends in June. The house is lovely and offered the right amount of space for 6 people. The whole house has been refurbished and provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. The house is located just of Port Erin promenade and we could easily walk to nearby restaurants, cafes and bars. The bus station is just around the corner and we used this to travel to Port St Mary. We will definitely be back for a further stay in the future.

My husband and I had such a wonderful stay at Seaside Cottages. The warm and generous welcome on arrival made us feel really special and was a great start to our holiday. The cottage's proximity to the beach and all the local amenities couldn't have been better. It was just a short walk down to the stunning Port Erin beach, undoubtedly one of the best the Island has to offer. It also meant that catering was really easy too, which for us was essential when we just wanted to unwind. That being said, it also felt like we were in our own private retreat due to the tucked away location. It really did offer everything we needed for a short break away and we will definitely be returning for a family holiday when we can travel again.

Just spent a few nights at Palm Villa. Absolutely gorgeous house. Accommodation was of a high standard. Location was literally seconds from the beautiful Port Erin beach. Amenities such as shops, pubs, bus stops, train station, kids park were virtually on your doorstep. Great communication with the hosts. Would definitely stay again 😍

Newly renovated, lovely interior decor. We were greeted with a nice welcome pack. Beds comfortable and bedrooms spacious. Kitchen is new and is spacious enough to cook a family meal. Super location near the beach and shops. Highly recommended!
