The Isle of Man is situated between Great Britain and Ireland in the heart of the Irish Sea.

The Isle of Man is 33 miles long by 13 miles wide.

Getting to the Isle of Man

You can travel to the Isle of Man by ferry or plane. Isle of Man Steam Packet Ferries travel from Liverpool or Heysham, and you can fly from various locations in the United Kingdom and Ireland.  

What can I do in the Isle of Man?

If you love the outdoors, you will love the Isle of Man. With no shortage of walking routes, cycling routes,  outdoor adventure activities and life on the water, you have plenty of choice! Its not just outdoors though; The indoor Heritage Sites, Museums, and opportunities for fun inside will keep you occupied. 

    

Exploring the Isle of Man

You can travel around the Isle of Man by car or by public transport on Victorian Heritage Railways and Trams. There is also an extensive bus network, with many extra routes added seasonally.  Of course its also fantastic travelling the Manx roads by Motorbike to get that true TT experience!

Isle of Man TT Races is what The Isle of Man is known for the most. Add to that the magnificent coastal and mountain scenery, medieval castles and forts, fantastic cycling opportunities, rare wildlife, birds and marine life, and incredible dark sky discovery sights, the Isle of Man is a special place to visit.
